Hey Guys!
We're excited to announce that Alltech is partnering with the University of Kentucky’s Opera Theatre department for the fifth time to present the Alltech Vocal Scholarship Competition. This competition awards over $300,000 in scholarships and stipends to undergraduate and graduate winners at UK. Past winners of this competition have also had the opportunity to travel with Alltech to places such as Ireland, Windsor, and along with Muhammad Ali.
The program will consist of the top finalists performing one song or aria of their choice and past winners showcasing their winning piece. This competition is free and open to the public. The awards will be presented by the head of the UK Opera Theatre program, Dr. Everett McCorvey and president and founder of Alltech, Dr. Pearse Lyons.
March 14th 2-5pm

Many college students are reluctant to apply to the many vocal scholarships today. Yes it's time consuming but well worth it in the end if you have vocal talent. There are a whole lot of private and not to well known about other scholarships for vocals in which seekers have to do a whole lot of searching for that's for sure. This is truely a wonderful way to attend college if you love to sing.
